Habits Of The Heart
''Habits of the Heart'' is the only studio album by Idle Warship, a collaboration between hip-hop artist Talib Kweli and singer Res, released on November 1, 2011. Critical reception ''Habits of the Heart'' received general acclaim from music critics. Ross Lockhart described the album as being "chock full of craziness" with a "unique blend" of genres and a "high energy" that "never relents". Lockhart lent particular praise to Res, writing that though "Kweli makes a few quality appearances...she steals the show", describing her vocals as "sultry and powerful." Furthermore, Lockhart favorably described the song's "hooks" as "ridiculously catchy" and the vocals "pure listening pleasure". Idle Warship
Idle Warship was a musical duo composed of Brooklyn emcee Talib Kweli and Philadelphia singer Res. Res has appeared on each Talib Kweli album since 2000's ''Train of Thought''. They have also toured together, including on the summer 2005 MGD Flavor 2 Savor mini-tour. They released their debut mixtape, ''Party Robot'', on October 27, 2009 for free. This was originally set for a 2008 release and announced on Talib Kweli's MySpace page in a New Year's blog entry. Idle Warship has released songs via their MySpace page, including "Industry Diary", "Screamin'" featuring mc chris, "Pull It Out" featuring Dapa Flex, "Fall Back" featuring Chester French, among others. John Forté
John Forté (born January 30, 1975) is an American recording artist and producer. He is primarily known for being a member of the musical duo Refugee Camp All-Stars, and his production work on the Fugees album '' The Score''. He has released four albums. In 2000, Forté was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and conspiracy to distribute; he was convicted and sentenced to the mandatory minimum 14 years after being found guilty. Chester French was an American indie pop band consisting of lead vocalist and songwriter David-Andrew 'D.A.' Wallach and multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Maxwell Drummey.
