Horry County Schools (HCS) is a public school district serving Horry County, South Carolina and is the third-largest school district in South Carolina. It serves over 45,000 students (as of the 2018–19 school year) in 56 schools (as well as offering additional education programs). The district office is located in Conway, South Carolina. The district is made up of nine attendance areas: Aynor, Carolina Forest, Conway, Green Sea Floyds, Loris, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Socastee, and St. James. Halifax Choral Society is a choir based in the town of Halifax in the English county of West Yorkshire. Hub-center steering (HCS) is one of several different types of front-end suspension/steering mechanisms used in motorcycles and cargo bicycles. Hub-center steering is characterized by the steering pivot points being inside the hub of the wheel, rather than above the wheel in the headstock as in the traditional layout. Most hub-center arrangements employ a swingarm that extends from the bottom of the engine/frame to the center of the front wheel. The advantages of using a hub-center steering system instead of a more conventional motorcycle fork are that hub-center steering separates the steering, braking, and suspension functions. Hard-clad silica (HCS) or polymer-clad fiber (PCF) is an optical fiber with a core of silica glass (diameter: 200 µm) and an optical cladding made of special plastic (diameter: 230 µm). In contrast to all-silica fiber, the core and cladding can be separated from each other. Due to their medium bandwidths and transmission rates of less than 100 Mbit/s, HCS fibers are suitable for distances of up to 2 km, e.g. in local networks in buildings and industry. Generally, the following applies: The higher the attenuation, the shorter the distance. For comparison, plastic optical fibers (POF) have low bandwidths and transmission rates (typically 100 Mbit/s). Th HCS (Highly Connected Subgraphs) clustering algorithm(also known as the HCS algorithm, and other names such as Highly Connected Clusters/Components/Kernels) is an algorithm based on graph connectivity for cluster analysis. It works by representing the similarity data in a similarity graph, and then finding all the highly connected subgraphs. It does not make any prior assumptions on the number of the clusters. Hydrocortisone is the name for the hormone cortisol when supplied as a medication. Uses include conditions such as adrenocortical insufficiency, adrenogenital syndrome, high blood calcium, thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, dermatitis, asthma, and COPD. It is the treatment of choice for adrenocortical insufficiency. It can be given by mouth, topically, or by injection. Stopping treatment after long-term use should be done slowly. Side effects may include mood changes, increased risk of infection, and edema (swelling). With long-term use common side effects include osteoporosis, upset stomach, physical weakness, easy bruising, and candidiasis (yeast infections).
