H.E.A.T
H.E.A.T is a Swedish hard rock group that was formed in Upplands Väsby in 2007, when the prior bands Dream and Trading Fate merged. Currently fronted by Kenny Leckremo, the band's heavy sound is strongly influenced by past melodic rock groups such as Whitesnake, with H.E.A.T having supported musical acts such as Scorpions. Between autumn 2015 to summer 2017, the group focused entirely on writing and recording songs. ''Into the Great Unknown'' was released in 2017 via earMUSIC. H.E.A.T released '' H.E.A.T II'' in 2020, and ''Force Majeure'' in 2022 after reuniting with original vocalist Kenny Leckremo. History The band were signed to Peter Stormares record label StormVox, and in 2008 the debut album ''H.E.A.T'' was released. ''Into the Great Unknown'' is the fifth studio album by Swedish melodic hard rock band H.E.A.T. Released worldwide on 22 September 2017 by the label Gain (working with Sony Music) and produced by Tobias Lindell. The album has received praise from publications such as '' Louder''. Background and production details The group's last album was 2014's ''Tearing Down the Walls''. According to a press release, the band decided to record ''Into the Great Unknown'' in Bangkok, Thailand, having already come up with ten possible songs to use, and used the facilities of Karma Sound Studios. The release also stated that H.E.A.T took inspiration at the modern resurgence in public attention, particularly among young adults, of older artists considered "classic rock heroes" such as Foreigner, Journey, and Whitesnake. Erik Grönwall
Per Erik Magnus Grönwall (born 3 December 1987) is a Swedish hard rock and heavy metal singer. In 2009, he won the Swedish ''Idol'' reality television. During several of the shows, he received standing ovations from the jury for his performances. His first single, " Higher", sold gold on digital downloads after only three days. His debut album, self-titled ''Erik Grönwall'', was released just ten days after the finals and debuted at number one on the Swedish albums chart and was certified platinum. In 2012, Grönwall joined rock band H.E.A.T as lead singer. Altogether as a solo artist and band member, Grönwall has numerous top 40 hits. In 2018, he portrayed Simon Zealotes in the NBC live television concert production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's ''Jesus Christ Superstar'', in which he received Grammy nomination for in the Best Musical Theater Album category. Melodifestivalen 2009 was a Sweden, Swedish song contest held between February and March 2009. It was the selection for the 49th song to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest, and was the 48th edition of Melodifestivalen. Five heats were held in the Swedish cities of Gothenburg, Skellefteå, Leksand and Malmö, with Norrköping hosting the final ''Andra Chansen'' round. After the five heats 11 songs had qualified to the final of the contest, contested in the Swedish capital of Stockholm, at the Ericsson Globe, Globe Arena. The Sweden Rock Festival is an annual rock/metal festival held in Sweden since 6 June 1992. While having a clear rock/metal focus, the festival is noted for its diversity across these genres, from southern rock bands such as Molly Hatchet to death metal legends like Obituary. The first version of the festival, known as Sommarfestivalen i Olofström, was held in Olofström in 1992. In 1993 the festival moved to Karlshamn, and changed its name to Karlshamn Rock Festival. In 1998, the festival moved to Norje, although the name Karlshamn Rock Festival was kept. In 1999 the name was changed to the Sweden Rock Festival. Upplands Väsby () is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Upplands Väsby Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 149,463 inhabitants in 2020. ''Tearing Down the Walls'' is the third studio album by American singer, actress and musician, E. G. Daily, which was released in 1999. Background ''Tearing Down the Walls'' was Daily's first album since 1989's ''Lace Around the Wound''. After the end of her record deal with A&M, Daily focused on her voice acting career.
