''RangiTaranga'' (English: ''Colourful Wave'') is a 2015 Indian Kannada-language mystery thriller film written and directed by Anup Bhandari in his debut, and produced by H. K. Prakash, under Shree Devi Entertainers. It features debutantes Nirup Bhandari, Radhika Chetan and Avantika Shetty in the lead roles, along with the veteran actor, Saikumar. Anup Bhandari said that in writing story for the film, he took inspiration from "Dennana Dennana", a track that featured as the theme song in the 1990s Kannada television soap '' Guddada Bhoota''. In addition to directing the film, Bhandari also scored for its soundtrack, also penning its lyrics. ''Avane Srimannarayana'' (; ) is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language fantasy adventure comedy film directed and edited by Sachin B. Ravi in his directorial debut. Jointly produced by Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah and H.K.Prakash, the film features Rakshit Shetty and Shanvi Srivastava in lead roles. B. Ajaneesh Loknath and Charan Raj composed the soundtrack, with the former composing the score, whereas Karm Chawla handled the cinematography. Described by Shetty as "Southern Odd Fiction", the film follows a corrupt police officer who takes on a bandit chief in order to recover a missing treasure in the 1980s. The film's script was written by Rakshit Shetty, Chandrajith Belliappa, Anirudh Kodgi, Abhijith Mahesh, Nagarjuna Sharma, and Abhilash. 9th South Indian International Movie Awards
The 9th South Indian International Movie Awards is an awards event held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hyderabad on 18–19 September 2021. The ceremony (9th SIIMA) recognized and honored the best films and performances from the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films and music released in 2019 and 2020, along with special honors for lifetime contributions and a few special awards. IIFA Utsavam
The annual IIFA Utsavam rewards the artistic and technical achievements of the South Indian film industry. The ceremony is organised by Wizcraft International, the team behind the IIFA Awards, and represents Tamil cinema, Telugu cinema, Malayalam cinema and Kannada cinema. The ceremony was instituted in 2016, after the 2015 South Indian floods had delayed the event from December 2015. The Awards are presented in separate parts on two different days.
