Gynėvė
The Gynėvė is a river of Kaunas County, central Lithuania. It flows for and has a basin area of . It is a left tributary of the Dubysa. The Gynėvė starts near Šetkaimys village, from Betygala. It flows mostly southwards, at the upper course passing through the Lapkalnys-Paliepiai Forest. It flows mostly in Raseiniai district municipality but one its section marks the limit between Raseiniai district municipality and Kėdainiai district municipality. It meets the Dubysa nearby Padubysys village. The valley of the lower course is deep. Part of it is flooded by the Plikiai Reservoir (area of ). Pagynėvis, Gožiai and Plikiai are largest settlements by the Gynėvė. Dubysa
Dubysa, at 131 km, is the 15th List of rivers of Lithuania, longest river solely in Lithuania. It originates just a few kilometers from Lake Rėkyva near Šiauliai city. At first it flows south, but at Lyduvėnai turns southeast and near Ariogala - southwest. Dubysa is a Samogitian river. The first few kilometres of Dybysa are also known as ''Genupis'' or ''Šventupis''. Dubysa has about 40 tributaries, the largest being Kražantė on the right and Šiaušė, Gryžuva, and Gynėvė on the left. Kražantė (86 km) is almost twice as long as the upper reaches of Dubysa before the confluence (47 km). Even though Kražantė's basin is somewhat smaller, it should be considered the main river. Dubysa is mainly fed by rainfall and melting snow, therefore its water levels change rapidly. The maximum depth is about 4 m. The Dubysa valley is one of the highest and widest in Lithuania. Gožiai is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 11 people. Lapkalnys-Paliepiai Forest
The Lapkalnys-Paliepiai Forest ( lt, Lapkalnio–Paliepių miškai) is a forest in Kėdainiai District Municipality and Raseiniai District Municipality, central Lithuania, located to the north east from Ariogala. It covers an area of . It consists of smaller forests: Juodžiai Forest, Lapkalnys Forest, Paliepiai Forest, Pašušvys Forest, Šilainiai Forest. Kėdainiai District Municipality
Kėdainiai () is one of the oldest cities in Lithuania. It is located north of Kaunas on the banks of the Nevėžis River. First mentioned in the 1372 Livonian Chronicle of Hermann de Wartberge, its population is 23,667. Its old town dates to the 17th century. The city is the administrative centre of the Kėdainiai District Municipality. Betygala
Betygala is a small town in Kaunas County in central Lithuania. As of 2011 it had a population of 488. In the 13th and 14th centuries the town had a noted Samogitan fortress, attacked by the Teutonic Knights numerous time. One of the first churches in Lithuania was built in the town.
