Gymnastics At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Men's Floor
The men's floor event at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held on 24 July and 1 August 2021 at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre. Approximately 70 gymnasts from 35 nations (of the 98 total gymnasts) competed on floor in the qualifying round. In the absence of heavyweights such as the three-time world floor champion (2013, 2015 and 2017) Kenzō Shirai of Japan, due to injury, Artem Dolgopyat of Israel won the event on a tie-breaker over Spain's Rayderley Zapata — it is the first Olympic medal for both. Dolgopyat's victory was also the first medal for Israel in artistic gymnastics and the second-ever Olympic gold medal for the country. Xiao Ruoteng of China earned the bronze medal for his third medal of the 2020 Olympics. Ali Al-Hitmi
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب; 600 – 661 CE) was the last of four Rightly Guided Caliphs to rule Islam (r. 656 – 661) immediately after the death of Muhammad, and he was the first Shia Imam. Milad Karimi ( kk, Милад Карими; born 21 June 1999) is a Kazakh artistic gymnast. He represented Kazakhstan at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He is the 2023 World bronze medalist on floor exercise. Personal life Karimi was born in Almaty to a Russian mother and Iranian father. Career In 2017, he won the bronze medal in the horizontal bar event at the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Bangkok, Thailand. Yul Kyung-Tae Moldauer (born August 26, 1996) is an American artistic gymnast. He is the 2017 U.S. national all-around champion and the 2017 World bronze medalist on floor exercise. He represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Early life and education Moldauer was born in Seoul, South Korea on August 16, 1996 and named Kyung-Tae. Before he was a year old, Peter Moldauer adopted him and named him Yul after the actor Yul Brynner. Gymnastics At The 2020 Summer Olympics – Men's Artistic Qualification
Qualification for men's artistic gymnastics competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre on 24 July 2021. The results of the qualification determined the qualifiers to the finals: 8 teams in the team final, 24 gymnasts in the all-around final, and 8 gymnasts in each of six apparatus finals. The competition was divided into three subdivisions. Subdivisions Gymnasts from nations taking part in the team all-around event were grouped together while the remaining gymnasts were grouped into one of six mixed groups. The groups were divided into the three subdivisions after a draw held by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique. 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2019 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held in Stuttgart, Germany from October 4–13, 2019. The championships took place at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle, and was the third time the city of Stuttgart hosted the event following the 1989 and 2007 editions, and the fifth time Germany hosted it. As of October 2, 92 federations registered gymnasts for the event with a total of 288 men and 259 women. Sam Mikulak of the United States and Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos of France won the Longines Prize for Elegance.
