Women's trampoline competition at the 2008 Summer Olympics The 2008 Summer Olympics (), officially the Games of the XXIX Olympiad () and also known as Beijing 2008 (), were an international multisport event held from 8 to 24 August 2008, in Beijing, China. A total of 10,942 athletes from 204 Na ... was held on August 18 at the Beijing National Indoor Stadium. The competition consisted of two rounds. In the first, each gymnast performed two routines on the trampoline. One routine included required elements, while the other was a voluntary routine. Scores were given for both execution and difficulty in each routine, summed to give a routine score. The two routine scores in the first round determined qualification for the second; the eight top finishers moved on to the final. He Wenna (; born 1989-01-19 in Xinluo, Longyan, Fujian) is a female Chinese trampoline gymnast. She competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she won the gold medal with a score of 37.80. She won a gold medal in the team event at the 2007 Trampoline World Championships and 2009 Trampoline World Championships. In 2009, she also won a silver medal in Individual. In the 2011 Trampoline World Championships The 28th Trampoline and Tumbling World Championships were held in Birmingham, England, from 17 to 20 November 2011 at the National Indoor Arena. Claire Louise Wright (born 5 August 1979 in Camberley, England) is a British trampoline gymnast. Her parents, Bernie and Colin Wright are gymnastics coaches and they run the Rushmoor Gymnastics Academy. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, three gymnastics disciplines were contested: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline. The artistic gymnastics events were held at the Beijing National Indoor Stadium on August 9–19. The rhythmic gymnastics events were held at the Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium on August 21–24. The trampoline events were also held at the Beijing National Indoor Stadium on August 16–19.
