Guy Flanagan
Guy Nicholas Flanagan (born 1980) is an English actor, best known for portraying John Mitchell in the pilot episode of '' Being Human''. Background Born in New Longton, Lancashire, Flanagan attended Cardinal Newman College, and went on to train at Drama Centre London. Flanagans mother Poppy Flanagan is also an actress, she previously worked as a teacher. New Longton
New Longton is a village located south west of Preston, in the district of South Ribble, in the county of Lancashire, North West England. It is in the parish of Longton, which is the name of the older village located to the west of New Longton. History The development of New Longton was prompted by the building of the West Lancashire Railway between Preston and Southport in Victorian times. A station called "", later renamed "New Longton and Hutton" was built at the junction of what is now Station Road and Chapel Lane, where there was a level crossing. Since the 1940s housing estate development has taken place south of Hugh Barn Lane and Wham Lane. Other small estates, including the council estate in Dickson Hey, were built on both sides of Station Road. The pilot episode of the BBC fantasy television show '' Being Human'' aired on BBC Three on 18 February 2008. Synopsis Cold open Night scenes of a young man (Mitchell) alone with a young woman (Lauren) are intercut with parallel night scenes of a different, haunted-looking young man (George) walking alone through the woods. Mitchell and Lauren's date has ended up in her flat, but despite the seductive atmosphere Mitchell seems more interested in talking to an uncomprehending Lauren about George's situation. Henry VIII (28 June 149128 January 1547) was King of England from 22 April 1509 until his death in 1547. Henry is best known for his six marriages, and for his efforts to have his first marriage (to Catherine of Aragon) annulled. His disagreement with Pope Clement VII about such an annulment led Henry to initiate the English Reformation, separating the Church of England from papal authority. He appointed himself Supreme Head of the Church of England and dissolved convents and monasteries, for which he was excommunicated by the pope. ''Totally Frank'' is a comedy drama series with a real-life band as its stars on Channel 4. It follows a band, Frank, who were struggling to make it in the music industry.
