The Guy Carbonneau Trophy (Trophée Guy Carbonneau) is awarded annually to the player in the QMJHL judged to be the best defensive forward. The winner is determined by the number of face-offs won, plus-minus differential, the player's role within the team, and the number of scoring opportunities. QMJHL
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (french: Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec; abbreviated ''QMJHL'' in English, ''LHJMQ'' in French) is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues that constitute the Canadian Hockey League. The league includes teams in the provinces of Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The current president of the QMJHL is Gilles Courteau. The President's Cup is the championship trophy of the league. The QMJHL champion then goes on to compete in the Memorial Cup against the OHL and WHL champions, and the CHL host team. Drummondville Voltigeurs
The Drummondville Voltigeurs are a junior ice hockey team of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The franchise was originally granted for the 1982–83 season, and is based in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada, playing its home games at the Centre Marcel Dionne. The team won the QMJHL's President's Cup in 2009. History Drummondville had a QMJHL team at the foundation of the League in 1969, called the Drummondville Rangers. However, the team folded at the end of the 1973–74 season. For the 1982–83 season, the city was granted an expansion franchise, along with the Longueuil Chevaliers. The team was named for a Quebec-based regiment that fought in the War of 1812, the Canadian Voltigeurs. Félix Girard
Felix Girard (born May 9, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with Frisk Asker of the Fjordkraftligaen (Norway). Girard was selected by the Nashville Predators in the 4th round (95th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Serving as the captain of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar since the 2012–13 season, Girard was selected as the QMJHL's best defensive forward for both the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons, becoming the only player to have won the Guy Carbonneau Trophy twice. Frédérik Gauthier (born April 26, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey Centre (ice hockey), centre currently under contract with HC Ajoie of the National League (ice hockey), National League (NL). Val-d'Or Foreurs
The Val-d'Or Foreurs are a junior ice hockey team based in Val-d'Or, in the region of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Quebec, Canada. The team was founded for the 1993–94 season of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, a member of the Canadian Hockey League. Former Quebec Nordiques and Trois-Rivières Draveurs star, Pierre Aubry was the team's first coach. Nicolas Roy
Nicolas Roy (;born February 5, 1997) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). Roy was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes, 96th overall, in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Roy won the Stanley Cup with the Golden Knights in 2023.
