Guy Aitchison
Guy Aitchison (born 1968) is an American tattoo artist and painter. He was featured on the tattoo reality television shows ''LA Ink'' and ''Tattoo Wars''. Biography Guy Aitchison was born in Michigan. He began painting album covers in 1985 and began tattooing in 1988. He has also released several books. He owns a studio called Hyperspace Studios with his wife, Michele Wortman, who is also a tattoo artist and painter. They were both on TLC's ''Tattoo Wars'' in 2007. He is the brother of tattoo artist and television personality, Hannah Aitchison. He was also a guest artist on ''LA Ink''. He gave Rob Zombie his first tattoo in 1989 when he was 21. Guy Aitchison was already in an apprenticeship at the Jacklich Corporation in the art department by age 17. Shrapnel Records
Shrapnel Records is an American record label founded in 1980 by record producer Mike Varney. History Guitarist Marty Friedman (formerly of Megadeth and Cacophony), one of the label's most successful artists, first appeared on the album ''Unsung Guitar Heroes II'' in 1980 with the band Vixen. Vixen would later change their name to Hawaii and release the album '' One Nation Underground'' for Shrapnel. In 1981, a friend gave Mike Varney a tape featuring a 17-year-old Swedish guitarist named Yngwie Malmsteen. A year later, Malmsteen wrote to the label stating that he wanted to export his music to America. Varney, who started writing a column called "Spotlight" for ''Guitar Player'' magazine in 1982, featured Malmsteen in his February 1983 column. The record executive flew Yngwie to California and set him up with vocalist Ron Keel's new band called Steeler. Steeler's self-titled album became a best selling release for Shrapnel Records. David Chastain
David Taylor Chastain (born August 31, 1953) is an American heavy metal guitarist and the owner of Leviathan Records and Diginet Music. Chastain emerged in the mid-1980s along with a wave of other neo-classical guitarists. He has released about 50 recordings under multiple names, including David T. Chastain, CJSS, Georgia Blues Dawgs, The Cincinnati Improvisational Group, SPIKE, Zanister, Ruud Cooty and Southern Gentlemen (blues-rock); as well as a number of heavy metal releases under the band name Chastain, accompanied by female vocalist Leather Leone. In more recent years, Chastain has worked as a record producer at his own company, Leviathan Records. A tattoo artist (also tattooer or tattooist) is an individual who applies permanent decorative tattoos, often in an established business called a "tattoo shop", "tattoo studio" or "tattoo parlour". Tattoo artists usually learn their craft via an apprenticeship under a trained and experienced mentor.
