Gus Seebeck
Gus Seebeck (born 18 September 1977) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for and in the West Australian Football League/Westar Rules (WAFL), and the East Coast Eagles in the AFL Sydney. Football career Seebeck was a member of the Victorian Teal Cup winning side in 1994 and played for the Prahran Dragons in the TAC Cup, captaining them in 1995. Of the 25 players in the Victorian side that year, 23 were drafted into the Australian Football League (AFL) in either the 1994 or 1995 AFL Draft, but Seebeck was overlooked. He then moved to Perth and played reserves football for South Fremantle whilst he studied Aquaculture at Curtin University. An abundance of tall players limited Seebeck's chance to play in the senior team and despite winning the Prendegast Medal in 1998 as the fairest and best player in the reserves competition, he only managed to play eleven senior games in three years. The East Coast Eagles is an Australian rules football club competing in the Sydney AFL competition based out of the Sydney suburb of Rouse Hill, New South Wales. Previously known as the Baulkham Hills Falcons (1976–1999) and Sydney Hills Eagles (2012–2014) and wearing maroon and gold, the team wears the West Coast Eagles uniforms of blue and Gold. The Heineken Classic was a men's professional golf tournament played in Australia from 1990 to 2005 as part of the PGA Tour of Australasia. From 1990 to 1992 it was called the Vines Classic. It was held at the Vines Resort in Western Australia from 1990 to 2001 and moved to the Royal Melbourne Golf Club from 2002 to 2005. From 1996 onwards it was co-sanctioned by the European Tour. In 2005 it was the most lucrative golf tournament in Australasia, but the 2006 event was cancelled after the sponsor withdrew and the promoters were unable to find a replacement. This was one of a series of tournaments to be cancelled in Australia within the space of a few years. Ryan Edwin Turnbull (born 23 September 1971) is a former Australian rules footballer who represented the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Turnbull was a member of the Eagles' 1994 premiership side, and was the club's first-choice ruckman for much of the 1990s. He also played with the and East Perth Football Clubs in the West Australian Football League (WAFL), and was awarded the Sandover Medal in 2001 as the best player in the competition, as well as winning the Simpson Medal in 2001 and 2002 as the best player in the league's grand final.
