Gurudwara Shaheed Bhai Taru Singh
Gurdwara Shaheed Bhai Taru Singh (Punjabi and ) or Gurdwara Shahidi Asthan Bhai Taru Singh ji is a Sikh Gurdwara at Naulakha Bazaar in Lahore, Pakistan, which commemorates the spot where Bhai Taru Singh was executed. The shrine was built on the grounds of the Shaheed Ganj Mosque, leading to a legal dispute over ownership that began in 1850. British, and later Pakistani, courts upheld the right of Sikhs to maintain a place of worship at the site. While a settlement was being negotiated by British authorities, a group of Sikhs demolished the mosque on 7–8 July 1935, triggering communal riots.In December of 2022, the official Gurdwara’s doors where locked by the local people was turned into a mosque. Naulakha Bazaar (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ur, ) is Bazaar (Market (place), market) located in Lahore, Punjab (Pakistan), Punjab, Pakistan. This Bazaar was established in 1633 and is located in Lahore Fort near Naulakha Pavilion. The Shaheed Ganj Mosque is located in Naulakha Bazaar. Gurdwara Lal Khoohi (''The Bloody Well''), alternatively Gurdwara Lal Khooh or Lal Khoo, literally ''Gurdwara Well of Blood'' was a historical Gurdwara located near Mochi Gate in Lahore, Pakistan. Historical significance It was built at the site where the fifth Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan Dev, was incarcerated during the reign of the Mughal Emperor, Jehangir. Captain Amarinder Singh (born 11 March 1942), is an Indian politician, military historian, former royal and Indian Army veteran who served as the 15th Chief Minister of Punjab. A former Member of the Legislative Assembly, Punjab and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, he was also the president of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.
