Gunter Sieberth
Gunter Sieberth (born in 1965) is a German oboist. Life Sieberth comes from Meiningen in Thuringia. From 1978 to 1983 he attended the in Weimar. Afterwards he studied at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt, Weimar with Axel Schmidt, solo English horn player in the MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra. Already during his studies Sieberth was a substitute at the Staatskapelle Weimar, in 1988 he graduated with a diploma. Since then he has been 1st solo oboist of the Jena Philharmonic. He is also a lecturer for oboe at the Musikgymnasium Schloss Belvedere (Weimar) and in the master classes of the tätig. Oboe
The oboe ( ) is a type of double reed woodwind instrument. Oboes are usually made of wood, but may also be made of synthetic materials, such as plastic, resin, or hybrid composites. Axel Frederik Preben Schmidt (30 April 1939 – 10 June 2018) was a Brazilian sailor from Rio de Janeiro who competed in the Summer Olympic Games, the Pan American Games, the Snipe World Championships, the Star World Championships and the Lightning World Championships. He is the son of Preben Tage Axel Schmidt (born in 1898 in Frederiksberg, Denmark) and Helene Margrete Jelinski (born in Lyck, East Prussia) and brother of Ingrid, Margrete and Erik Schmidt, also competitive Brazilian sailors. The MDR-Sinfonieorchester (in English, MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra) is a German radio orchestra based in Leipzig. Ludwig Güttler (born 13 June 1943) is an internationally known German virtuoso on the Baroque trumpet, the piccolo trumpet and the corno da caccia.
