Gumnaam Hai Koi
''Gumnaam'' (translation: ''Unknown'' or ''Anonymous'') is a 1965 Indian Bollywood thriller film directed by Raja Nawathe, starring Manoj Kumar, Nanda, Pran, Helen and Mehmood. The film is a loosely-inspired adaptation of the 1939 mystery novel ''And Then There Were None'' by Agatha Christie. The film came to wider attention in the English-speaking world when its opening song "Jaan Pehechan Ho" (a Hindi-Urdu phrase roughly translated as "we should get to know each other") was included in the opening credits of '' Ghost World'' and used in the 2011 commercial ''The Date'' for Heineken. The song was sung by Bollywood music legend Mohammed Rafi. The lead dancer in the song as shot in the film was Laxmi Chhaya. Raja Nawathe
Raja Nawathe (; 14 October 1924 – 15 November 2005) was an Indian film producer, director, assistant film director, in Bombay's Hindi film industry, long before it came to be known as Bollywood. He is known for films like Raj Kapoor-Nargis starrer '' Aah'' (1953) and thriller ''Gumnaam'' (1965). Career Raja Nawathe had commenced his film career as assistant director to Raj Kapoor, for three productions from R.K. Films, viz. '' Aag'' (1948), '' Barsaat'' (1949), and ''Awaara'' (1951). His debut as independent director commenced with the film, '' Aah'', in 1953, produced by Raj Kapoor, which, at the time, did not quite make its mark at the box-office. Ghost World (film)
''Ghost World'' is a 2001 black comedy film directed by Terry Zwigoff and starring Thora Birch, Scarlett Johansson, Brad Renfro, Illeana Douglas and Steve Buscemi. Tarun Bose (14 September 1928 – 8 March 1972) was an Indian actor, active in Bollywood during the 1960s and 1970s. Early life and education Bose was born in Kolkata, though he grew up in Nagpur, where he studied at St. Francis High School. Madan Puri (30 September 1915 – 13 January 1985) was an Indian actor of Hindi and Punjabi films. His brothers were actors Chaman Puri and Amrish Puri. ''Naalai Unathu Naal'' () is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film, directed by A. Jagannathan and produced by Kalavathi C. The film stars Vijayakanth, Nalini and Jaishankar. Herman Benjamin
Herman Benjamin was a choreographer of dance numbers in various Bollywood movies from the late 1950s through to the early 1970s. Also known as "Harman", he started his career as a choreographer in the popular 1958 film ''Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi''. He choreographed a great number of movies featuring Shammi Kapoor. He also appeared onscreen as a dancing extra in several of the songs he choreographed. Among his most well known songs is Jaan Pehechan Ho which he also performed onscreen for the hit 1965 film ''Gumnaam''. Laxmi Chhaya
Laxmi Chhaya (7 January 1948 – 9 May 2004) was an Indian actress, dancer and teacher, who was known for her distinctive character roles and appearances in Hindi films. Following a series of roles as a child actor, Chhaya earned recognition for her appearance as a masked dancer in Mohammed Rafi's "Jaan Pehechan Ho", which appeared in the horror film ''Gumnaam'' (1965).
