__NOTOC__ Gum Tree Gully Conservation Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located in the locality of Hindmarsh Tiers, South Australia, Hindmarsh Tiers about south of the state capital of Adelaide city centre, Adelaide and about south-east of Myponga, South Australia, Myponga. The conservation park consists of the following land in the cadastral unit of the Hundred of Encounter Bay – Allotment 31 of Deposited Plan 79974. The name was approved by the Surveyor General of South Australia on 18 August 2009 and is derived from a gully called Gum Tree Gully whose extent includes the conservation park. As of 2018, it covered an area of . Hindmarsh Tiers, South Australia
__NOTOC__ Hindmarsh Tiers (also known as The Tiers) is a locality in the Australian state of South Australia located about south of the state capital of Adelaide and about north of the municipal seat of Victor Harbor. Boundaries for the locality were created in August 1998 for the “long established name.” A school operated from 1920 to 1938 within what is now the locality. Hindmarsh Tiers Road which is maintained by the state government passes through the locality in an east-west alignment with the road forming part of its southern boundary. Land use within Hindmarsh Tiers is limited to “farming activities on large land holdings that do not pollute water resources” due to its location within a watershed protection zone. Myponga, South Australia
Myponga is a settlement in South Australia. At the 2016 census, the locality had a population of 744, of whom 393 lived in its town centre. Myponga is located within the federal division of Mayo, the state electoral district of Mawson, and the local government area of the District Council of Yankalilla. The southern emu-wren (''Stipiturus malachurus'') is a species of bird in the Australasian wren family, Maluridae. It is endemic to Australia. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, and Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, and swamplands. Description The adult male has rusty-brown upper parts with streaks of black, the crown more reddish and grey-brown wings. It has a sky-blue throat, upper chest and eyebrow. The tail is double the body length, and is composed of six filamentous feathers, the central two of which are longer than the lateral ones. The underparts are pale red-brown, paler on the belly.
