Guilty as Charged (2000) was the second ECW Guilty as Charged professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). It took place on January 9, 2000 from the Boutwell Memorial Auditorium in Birmingham, Alabama. In the main event, Mike Awesome defeated Spike Dudley in a singles match to retain the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. In the undercard, The Impact Players ( Justin Credible and Lance Storm) defeated Tommy Dreamer and Raven to win the ECW World Tag Team Championship, while Rob Van Dam retained the ECW World Television Championship against Sabu. Michael Lee Alfonso (January 24, 1965 – February 17, 2007) was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his appearances with the American professional wrestling promotions Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment under the ring name Mike Awesome and for his appearances in Japan with Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling and All Japan Pro Wrestling as The Gladiator. Alfonso achieved the biggest success of his career in FMW as The Gladiator, where he became a three-time world champion, with two reigns as Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Champion and one reign as Independent Heavyweight Champion. The Impact Players
The Impact Players were a professional wrestling stable in Extreme Championship Wrestling that was composed of Lance Storm and Justin Credible. History The Impact Players formed when Lance Storm and Justin Credible started teaming in ECW in February 1999. They were brought together when Shane Douglas announced his retirement on February 20, 1999 and was prepared to announce who the new "Franchise" was to be. Both Storm and Credible came to the ring and both said they were to be the next Franchise. Douglas then said neither of them were qualified and that the next one was to be Tommy Dreamer. John Michael Watson (born June 4, 1973), better known by his ring name Mikey Whipwreck, is an American semi-retired professional wrestler working for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a trainer, and global ambassador.
