Guillaume Warmuz
Guillaume Warmuz (born 22 May 1970) is a French football coach and former player who played as a goalkeeper. He played 374 games in Ligue 1 during 13 seasons, representing in the competition Lens and Monaco. Playing career Born in Saint-Vallier, Saône-et-Loire, Warmuz started his professional with Olympique de Marseille in 1989. After no Ligue 1 appearances in his sole season he moved to CS Louhans-Cuiseaux from Ligue 2, where he was first-choice. In the 1992 summer Warmuz signed for top flight club RC Lens, making his club debut on 8 August in a 3–0 home defeat by AJ Auxerre. Over the course of the following ten years he went on to play in 427 official games for ''Les Sang et Or'', winning the 1998 national championship and the following year's Coupe de la Ligue. In January 2003, then a free agent Warmuz signed a short-term contract for Arsenal, as a replacement for the injured Rami Shaaban. Jens Gerhard Lehmann (; born 10 November 1969) is a German former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was a member of Arsenal's " Invincibles", playing every match of their unbeaten title-winning season. Rami Shaaban (born 30 June 1975) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as goalkeeper. During a career that spanned between 1994 and 2012, he is best remembered for representing Djurgårdens IF, Arsenal, Fredrikstad, and Hammarby IF. A full international between 2006 and 2008, he won 16 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2008. The Coupe de la Ligue (), known outside France as the French League Cup, was a Single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Football in France, French football organized by the Ligue de Football Professionnel. The tournament was established in 1993 and, unlike the Coupe de France, was only open to professional clubs in France which play in country's French football league system, top three football divisions, though the Championnat National, third is not fully professional. 1997–98 French Division 1
The 1997–98 Division 1 was the 60th season of Division 1, the top French professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1932. The season began on 2 August 1997, and concluded on 9 May 1998. This season saw a change in the league format, with the number of teams reduced to 18 from 20, shortening the season from 38 to 34 rounds. As a result, four clubs which had been relegated at the end of the previous season were replaced by only two, Châteauroux and Toulouse, who entered as winners and runners up of the 1996–97 French Division 2.
