Horst Heinz Köhler (born 15 February 1963), known under his stage name Guildo Horn (), is a German Schlager singer. Euro-Vision
"Euro-Vision" () was the entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1980, performed in French by Telex. The song was performed nineteenth on the night, following 's Trigo Limpio with "Quédate esta noche". At the close of voting, it had received 14 points, placing 17th in a field of 19. The band were moderately pleased with the outcome of the contest, but for a somewhat unusual reason: at the time lead singer was quoted as saying: "We had hoped to finish last, but Portugal decided otherwise. We got ten points from them and finished on the 19th spot". In hindsight their participation in the Contest however seems to have served its marketing purposes; some thirty years on "Euro-Vision" remains one of the band's best-known songs, both in Belgium and internationally. Bianca Shomburg (born 17 September 1974, Hiddenhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German singer, best known for her participation in the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest. Biography In 1996, Shomburg took part in the international TV talent contest ''European Soundmix Show'', which she won, as a result obtaining a recording contract with producer Harold Faltermeyer and releasing her first single, "I Believe in Love". In 1997, she entered the German Eurovision selection with the Ralph Siegel-composed " Zeit" ("Time"), which had originally been written for Esther Ofarim. "Zeit" emerged the clear winner, and went forward to the 42nd Eurovision Song Contest, held in Dublin on 3 May. For the Eurovision Song Contest 1999, Germany was represented by "Reise nach Jerusalem – Kudüs'e Seyahat", performed by Sürpriz.
