Gugu Liberato
Antônio Augusto de Moraes Liberato (April 10, 1959 – November 21, 2019), better known as Gugu Liberato or simply Gugu, was a Brazilian television presenter, entrepreneur, actor and singer. Early life Liberato was born in São Paulo, Brazil, the son of Portuguese immigrants. He used to write letters to Silvio Santos (who later hired him) suggesting ideas for programs. He started on television at age 14 as program production assistant on Domingo no Parque (Sunday at the Park), presented by Silvio Santos on SBT. He is regarded as one of the most famous entertainers in the history of Brazilian television, standing next to names like Fausto Silva, Silvio Santos, Hebe Camargo and Xuxa Meneghel. Career Liberato began studying dentistry at University of Marilia (Unimar) in Marilia, São Paulo, but dropped out when called by Silvio Santos, who invited him to take up a post in front of the cameras. ''Domingão do Faustão'' (literally ''Big Fausto's Big Sunday'') was a Brazilian TV show aired every Sunday from 1989 to 2021. Produced by Rede Globo and hosted by Fausto Silva (also known as Faustão), it featured live music performances (usually by the most popular artists in Brazil at the time) as well as special segments, such as the '' Dança dos Famosos'' (Brazilian version of '' Dancing with the Stars'') and ''Dança no Gelo'' ('' Dancing on Ice''). Roberto Marinho
Roberto Pisani Marinho (December 3, 1904 – August 6, 2003) was a Brazilian businessman who was the owner of media conglomerate Grupo Globo from 1925 to 2003, and during this period expanded the company from newspapers to radio and television. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Marinho inherited the newspaper ''O Globo'' and began working there as a reporter. Later he became the chief editor.
