Guglielmo Biraghi
Guglielmo Biraghi (1 September 1927 – 23 April 2001) was an Italian critic and film festival director. He was the director of the Taormina Film Fest in the 1970s and became the 14th director of the Venice Film Festival in 1987. In 1970, he was a member of the jury at the 1970 Cannes Film Festival The 23rd Cannes Film Festival ran from 3 to 18 May 1970. This year, Robert Favre LeBret, the founder of the festival, decided not to include any films from Russia and Japan (their flags were missing on the Croisette). Taormina Film Fest (TFF) is a film festival that began in 1955 under the name Rassegna Cinematografica Internazionale di Messina e Taormina. The 23rd Cannes Film Festival ran from 3 to 18 May 1970. This year, Robert Favre LeBret, the founder of the festival, decided not to include any films from Russia and Japan (their flags were missing on the Croisette). 38th Berlin International Film Festival
The 38th annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 12 to 23 February 1988. The festival opened with musical film ''Linie 1'' by Reinhard Hauff. The Golden Bear was awarded to the Chinese film '' Red Sorghum'' directed by Zhang Yimou. The retrospective was dedicated to colour films and it was titled ''The History of Colour Film''. Annabella Incontrera
Annabella Incontrera (11 June 1943 – 19 September 2004), sometimes credited as Pam Stevenson, was an Italian film and television actress. Career Born in Milan, Incontrera attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia without finishing the course. She made her film debut at 16, in ''Love Now, Pay Later'' (''L'inferno addosso'', 1959), and appeared in about 40 films, mostly in secondary roles. Personal life In 1969, she married Guglielmo Biraghi, film critic for the newspaper '' Il Messaggero'', but they divorced a few years later. She was romantically involved with the married British Labour Party politician Geoffrey Robinson, who in the 1970s was a businessman in charge of the Italian offshoot of British Leyland, and reputedly introduced to his colleagues as 'Signora Robinson'.
