''Guerra de Titanes'' ( Spanish for "War of the Titans") was a major professional wrestling event scripted and produced by Lucha Libre AAA World Wide (AAA), a Mexican promotion. The event was the twentieth annual '' Guerra de Titanes'' show which, until 2015, has traditionally been AAA's "end of the year" show. In 2016 the show was shifted from December to January instead. The show was held in ''Gimnasio Juan de la Barrera'' in Mexico City, Mexico which also hosted the 2016 ''Guerra de Titanes'' show. Antonio Peña Promotions, S.A. de C.V. d/b/a Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide is a Mexican Lucha Libre (professional wrestling) promotion based in Mexico City, Mexico. Commonly referred to as simply AAA (pronounced "triple A"; an abbreviation of its original name Asistencia Asesoría y Administración, Spanish for "Assistance, Assessment, and Administration"), the promotion was founded in 1992 when Antonio Peña broke away from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to set up a promotion, which allowed him more creative freedom. Jorge Luis Alcantar Bolly (born April 30, 1984), is a Mexican second-generation ''luchador'' (professional wrestler). He is currently signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Santos Escobar. Before his WWE career, Alcantar worked as El Hijo del Fantasma for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) from 2013 to 2019. A wrestling mask is a fabric-based mask that some professional wrestlers wear as part of their in-ring persona or gimmick. Professional wrestlers have been using masks as far back as 1915 and they are still widely used today, especially in Lucha Libre in Mexico. A professional wrestling promotion is a company or business that regularly performs shows involving professional wrestling that has little relationship to the rules of the amateur olympic form. Miguel Ángel Olivo Castro (born June 19, 1988), better known by the ring name Daga, is a Mexican professional wrestler. He is a former AAA Latin American Champion and AAA World Cruiserweight Champion. He has also worked for Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling.
