José Andrés Guardado Hernández (; born 28 September 1986) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for La Liga club Real Betis and captains the Mexico national team. Popularly known as ''Principito'' (Spanish for '' Little Prince''), Guardado came through the youth ranks at Atlas, making his professional debut in 2005 before signing with Spain's Deportivo two years later, where he spent five seasons. In 2012 he joined Valencia, with brief loan stints at Bayer Leverkusen and PSV, before permanently joining the latter club in 2015 and winning two Eredivisie titles. He returned to Spain two years later with Real Betis, where he has since made over 175 appearances. Edward Adrian Guardado (born October 2, 1970) is a former Major League Baseball relief pitcher and current bullpen coach. Guardado played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins (–, ), Seattle Mariners (–), Cincinnati Reds (–), and the Texas Rangers (Two separate stints in and ). He was named as a bullpen coach for the Twins in 2014. His common nickname is "Everyday Eddie", a testament to his durable arm during his first stint with the Twins. Over Eddie's career, he appeared in 908 games. Only 22 other pitchers have appeared in more games. Mark Guardado
Mark "Papa" Guardado (November 29, 1961 – September 3, 2008) was a member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club and president of the club's San Francisco chapter. He was also an advisor for the television show ''Sons of Anarchy'', which follows an outlaw motorcycle club. On February 10, 2008, Guardado allegedly beat up a man in Petaluma, California but died before he could appear in court to fight the charges. Guardado was charged with battery and Jonathan Nelson, vice-president of the Sonoma County chapter of the Hells Angels, was charged with felony battery in that incident. In March, 2010, Jonathan Nelson was acquitted of felony assault and gang charges related to the McNear's altercation by a Sonoma County jury. The jury found that the Hells Angels were not a criminal street gang under California law. Guardado was murdered in San Francisco's Mission District on September 2, 2008.
