Guanmiao District
Guanmiao District () is a rural district in southeastern Tainan, Taiwan. History After the handover of Taiwan from Japan to the Republic of China in 1945, Guanmiao was organized as a rural township of Tainan County. On 25 December 2010, Tainan County was merged with Tainan City and Guanmiao was upgraded to a district of the city. District (Taiwan)
Districts are administrative subdivisions of the Taiwan, Republic of China (Taiwan)'s special municipality (Taiwan), special municipalities of the second level and provincial city (Taiwan), provincial cities of the third level formerly under its Provinces of China, provinces. There are two types of district in the administrative scheme. Chien-Ming Wang
Chien-Ming Wang (; born March 31, 1980) is a Taiwanese former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees, Washington Nationals, Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals. He also played for the Taiwan national baseball team, and is the current assistant pitching coach for CTBC Brothers. Wang signed as an amateur free agent with the Yankees in 2000. After working his way up the Yankees' minor league system for several seasons, he made his MLB debut in 2005. With his hard sinker, he was one of the best starting pitchers for the Yankees in 2006 and 2007, winning 19 games in both seasons and leading the American League in that category in 2006. Kuo Kuo-wen
Kuo Kuo-wen (; born 11 March 1967) or Robert Kuo is a Taiwanese politician. He has served as secretary-general of the Taiwan Confederation of Trade Unions and Taiwan Labor Front, as well as a member of the Tainan City Council. He was appointed deputy minister of labor in 2016, and left the position in 2017. He was elected to the Legislative Yuan in March 2019. Education Kuo Kuo-wen, also known by the English name Robert Kuo, was born on 11 March 1967. He obtained his master's degree in law from National Taiwan University and doctoral degree in political economy from National Cheng Kung University. Formosa Freeway
National Freeway 3 (), also known as Formosa Freeway (), is a freeway in Taiwan. It is the second north–south freeway in Taiwan, beginning in Keelung City at Jijin Interchange on the provincial highway 2 (Jijin Road) and ending in Linbian, Pingtung on the provincial highway 17. It is the longest freeway in Taiwan with a total length of . The freeway is also the only one in Taiwan to have a spur route, Freeway 3A.
