Gu Yu
Gu Yu (born June 12, 1983) is a Chinese amateur boxer who qualified for the 2008 Olympics in his native country at Bantamweight 54 kg. He is from Liaoning. At the Asian Games 2006 the southpaw was upset in the first round. At the 2007 world championships he reached the quarter finals where he lost to Joe Murray. In the 2008 Olympics, Gu was able to avenge his defeat to Murray by beating him convincingly. In 2009 he again reached the quarterfinal at the world championships, losing to Irish boxer John Nevin. Frankie Gavin (boxer)
Frankie Raymond Gavin (born 28 September 1985) is a British professional boxer. He held the British and Commonwealth welterweight titles between 2012 and 2015, and has challenged once for the IBF welterweight title in 2015. As an amateur, Gavin won a gold medal in the lightweight division at the 2007 World Championships, becoming England's first ever winner of that event. He also won lightweight gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Amateur career Domestically as an amateur, Gavin represented the Birmingham's Hall Green boxing club with whom he won the English ABA championship in 2005 and 2007 and a Four Nations championship in 2005. Richard Faulds
Richard Bruce Faulds MBE (born 16 March 1977 in Guildford, Surrey), is a retired English sport shooter, who competed for Great Britain in the 2000 Summer Olympics and won the men's double trap. He also competed at the 1996, 2004, 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Born into a family who then ran a stud farm in Sussex, Faulds was then raised on the family-owned Owl's Lodge Farm in the Hampshire village of Longparish. On his tenth birthday, Faulds's father Bruce bought him some shooting lessons, with Richard hitting 17 out of 25 clays in his first attempt. His father built him a range on the family farm, but just before finishing third in his first world junior championship, his PE teacher said that his hand–eye co-ordination was very poor. It was discovered that Faulds suffered from a weak left eye, which was corrected by special dot-to-dot exercises with such good effect that he now shoots left-handed.
