Grétar Steinsson
Grétar Rafn Steinsson (born 9 January 1982) is an Icelandic former professional footballer who played as a right back. He is currently employed as Performance Director at Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Club career Iceland Born in Siglufjörður, Grétar was spotted playing football when he was playing "seven-a-side football in the tiny fishing village" in his hometown, leading him to joining a youth team. Grétar started his career with local team KS in Siglufjörður, where he was a student at the time. before joining ÍA Akranes in 2000. Grétar made his ÍA Akranes debut in the opening game of the season, in a 1–0 win over KF on 18 May 2000. Until the end of 2000, he went on to make 13 appearances, while he was captain for the youth side. His breakthrough in the first team attracted interest from European clubs, such as Heerenveen, 1860 Munich and Sheffield United. Siglufjörður
Siglufjörður () is a small fishing town in a narrow fjord with the same name on the northern coast of Iceland. The population in 2011 was 1,206; the town has been shrinking in size since the 1950s when the town reached its peak of 3,000 inhabitants. RKC Waalwijk () is a Dutch professional football club based in Waalwijk, that is currently competing in the Eredivisie. Its name is derived from 'Rooms Katholieke Combinatie' ('Roman Catholic Combination' in Dutch) and was established as a merger of HEC, WVB and Hercules. Jan Kromkamp (born 17 August 1980) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a right-back. He currently manages CSV Apeldoorn. Kromkamp played a total of 201 games in the Eredivisie and scored eight goals in nine seasons, playing for both AZ and PSV.
