Grzegorz Knapp (18 March 1979 – 22 June 2014) was a Polish speedway and ice speedway rider who rode for GTŻ Grudziądz in the Polish Speedway First League. Wąbrzeźno
Wąbrzeźno (german: Briesen) is a town in Poland, in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, about northeast of Toruń. It is the capital of the Wąbrzeźno County. The population is 13,971 inhabitants (2004). History Along with Chełmno Land, the area was part of medieval Poland, since its establishment in the 10th century. Archaeologists have discovered medieval treasures, mostly from the 11th century, confirming medieval trade with the neighboring regions of Kuyavia and Prussia. At the beginning of the 13th century, a trade route developed that crossed over an isthmus between two large lakes, the Sicieńskie lake and the Zamkowe ("Castle lake"). A defensive wall was built at this spot, and later, a settlement was constructed there as well. The place is mentioned in a twelfth-century document regarding a battle in which Henry of Sandomierz was killed. 2010 Individual Ice Racing World Championship
The 2010 FIM Individual Ice Racing World Championship was the 2010 version of FIM Individual Ice Racing World Championship season. The world champion was determined in nine finals in five cities between 6 February and 21 March 2010. The championship title was won by the defending champion Nikolay Krasnikov, who won seven of nine events. It was his sixth world champion title. The silver medal was won by Daniil Ivanov, who won the other two events. Dmitry Khomitsevich was third. The top five placing riders were from Russia.
