Grupo CIE (Corporacion Interamericana de Entretenimiento. Spanish for: Interamerican Entertainment Corporation) is a Mexican entertainment and media company. It is leader of Latin American entertainment sector, focusing especially on the markets of Hispanic and Portuguese language, including the Latin market of the United States. Grupo CIE is a Latin American amalgam of Live Nation. The company operates various main venues, auditoriums and theme parks in all Latin countries; also it is in charge of promote a great variety of live events, commercial fairs and exhibitions, access the advertising ticket commercialization (including Ticketmaster Mexico and Ticketmaster Brazil), sponsorships, foods, promotional drinks and articles for events and entertainment. Wannado City
Wannado City was an indoor role-playing amusement center at the Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was a property of Grupo CIE. Billed as "where kids can do what they wanna do," it was a child-sized representation of a metropolis where children aged 2–14 could participate in different careers and other lifelike activities. Luis Javier Laresgoiti created the concept five years prior (1996) when he opened a similar park in Mexico City named "La Ciudad de los Niños", now known as KidZania. Luis sold his shares and left (now)Kidzania to open Wannado City at Sawgrass Mills Mall in Florida. Teatro De Los Insurgentes
Teatro de los Insurgentes ( en, Theater of the Insurgents) is a theater located on Mexico City's Avenida de los Insurgentes. It was built by José María Dávila in 1953 as part of President Miguel Alemán's program of urban renewal. Dávila commissioned muralist Diego Rivera to paint ''La historia del teatro'', a visual history of the theatre in Mexico on the building's façade. The Marxist artist placed the character of Cantinflas in the center of the mural in the form of a Robin Hood figure, distributing the wealth of the rich to the poor. The theater's inaugural performance was Cantinflas' elaborate return to the stage after considerable success in films. Arena V.F.G. is an indoor arena located in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, part of Guadalajara metropolitan area, Mexico. The arena can accommodate between 3,500 and 15,000 people. It is mainly used for sporting events and concerts. Name The arena is named after Mexican singer Vicente Fernández, using the initials V.F.G. to represent the singer's full name Vicente Fernández Gómez. Auditorio Banamex
Auditorio Citibanamex (formerly named Auditorio Coca-Cola, Auditorio Fundidora and Auditorio Banamex) is an indoor amphitheatre, located in Fundidora Park, in Monterrey, Nuevo León. It was the primary venue for concerts until the Arena Monterrey opened in 2003. The amphitheatre opened in 1994 with a sponsorship by The Coca-Cola Company. When the venue was used less frequently, Mexican financial group Grupo Financiero Banamex, became its new sponsor with a $20 million investment. The venue closed for nearly two years to set forth renovations, which included updating the overall structure of the venue, converting it to an indoor amphitheatre. Foro Sol
Foro Sol is a sports and entertainment venue built in 1993 inside the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in eastern Mexico City. It is located near the Mexico City International Airport and is operated by Grupo CIE. The venue was originally built for staging large music concerts. Initially called the Autódromo, it could accommodate up to 50,000 people. From 2000 to 2014, it was used as a baseball stadium as well, hosting the Diablos Rojos del México and Tigres de México.
