Growing Through Life
''Growing Through Life'' (Traditional Chinese: 摘星之旅) is a 2010 TVB series co-production with Shanghai Television. Synopsis Hoi Sing (Hanson) (Raymond Lam) and his mother Ho Wai Sum (Lui Yau Wai) runs a domestic appliance manufacturing factory (Sing Moon Tin Electrical Appliance) that have been left by his father. Hanson’s uncle Hoi Leung (Albert) (Damian Lau), a money-minded businessman seeks any opportunity to acquire Sing Moon Tin. Albert's wife Cheng Ming Chu (Liza) (Cecilia Yip) and daughter Hoi Mei Si (Macy) (Toby Leung) intercede the acquisition plans as they value the importance of family since the business belongs to the family and that Hanson would like to maintain Sing Moon Tin. Through persuasion Liza and Macy convinces Albert to put the acquisition on hold. However, a business opportunity arises, Albert (being the major shareholder) places a spy Fong Lai King (Zhao Ziqi) in the factory to cause mishaps. Law Lok Lam
Law Lok-lam (, born 20 October 1948) is a veteran Hong Kong character actor currently under Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) management. A versatile actor who has acted in many Hong Kong television dramas since the 1970s. He has been in so many dramas that he became internationally known as "the actor that died 5 times in one day or 24 hours" when five dramas he starred in were broadcast on the same day showing him in dying scenes. Law originally joined TVB in 1976 as a film extra, but left the same year to return to rival station Commercial Television (CTV). Matthew Ko
Matthew Ko Kwan-yin (born 20 May 1984) is a Hong Kong actor. In September 2014, Ko left TVB after his contract ended to later sign with Catchy Tone Artists in Mainland China. At the age of seven, Matthew emigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada with his parents. He attended Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School and played on the Wildcats Basketball team. He then entered York University. In 2003, he participated in the Toronto Sunshine Boyz election and won the championship. He returned to Hong Kong in 2004 and worked as a model. Brian Burrell
Brian Thomas Burrell (, born March 23, 1972) is an American–Hong Kong actor best known for his roles in Cantonese television productions in Hong Kong. Burrell is also one of the few non-Chinese actors in Hong Kong broadcaster TVB's artiste profiles over the years.
