Grove Park is a northwest Atlanta, inside-the-perimeter neighborhood bounded by: * Center Hill on the west * Dixie Hills, West Lake, and Hunter Hills on the south * Bankhead on the east * Almond Park, West Highlands and Rockdale to the north History Grove Park was named for Dr. Edwin Wiley Grove, president of the Grove Park Development Company, a pharmaceutical magnate who also built Atkins Park near Virginia-Highland in northeast Atlanta, and many Asheville, North Carolina hotels including the Grove Park Inn. Grove Park was developed in the 1920s and 1930s by various developers, but primarily by the Grove Park Development Company. Grove Park Inn
The Omni Grove Park is a historical resort hotel on the western-facing slope of Sunset Mountain within the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Asheville, North Carolina. It has been visited by various presidents of the United States and many other notable personages. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the hotel is an example of the Arts and Crafts style. It also features a £38 Million (US$44 million), , modern subterranean spa. The Grove Park Inn is a member of the Historic Hotel of America, the program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Jamal Lewis (American Football)
Jamal Lewis (born August 29, 1979) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns. He played college football at Tennessee and was selected fifth overall by the Ravens in the 2000 NFL Draft. Westside Reservoir Park
Westside Park at Bellwood Quarry is a park in the City of Atlanta located on the site of the former Bellwood Quarry. The park is between Johnson Road and Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and between the neighborhoods of Bankhead, Grove Park, and Knight Park/Howell Station, of which a large portion of the park falls within the Grove Park boundaries. Westside Park at Bellwood Quarry was a major green space project of the Atlanta BeltLine master plan. Quarry Yards is a mixed-use development under construction in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. First proposed in 2018, the development would be located in the Grove Park neighborhood, next to Bankhead station, Westside Reservoir Park, and Proctor Street Greenway.
