Diplôme D'Ingénieur
The Diplôme d'Ingénieur (, often abbreviated as ''Dipl. Ing.'') is a postgraduate degree in engineering ''(see Engineer's Degrees in Europe)'' usually awarded by the Grandes Écoles in engineering. It is generally obtained after five to seven years of studies after the Baccalauréat. Each holder of the diplôme d'ingénieur is also conferred the title of ''Ingénieur diplômé'' (graduate engineer). This is distinguished from the term ingénieur''' (engineer) which is less-regulated. The diplôme d'ingénieur is recognized as Master of Science in Engineering in the United States and in the countries of the European Union (also in France). Most Grande Ecole give the opportunity to their students to join a double degree with a university (in France or abroad). Furthermore, Diplôme d'ingénieur graduates can pursue a selective PhD after their engineering studies to later join academia or an industrial R&D department. Introduction ENIB is located on the Technopole Brest-Iroise in Plouzané. The school is attached to the University of Western Brittany. École nationale d'ingénieurs de Metz (''ENI Metz'' or ''ENIM'') a French engineering College created in 1960. It is an engineering school oriented towards mechanics and production but which, through the diversity of its training, falls into the category of so-called “generalist” schools. Located in Metz, the ENIM is a higher public education institution recognised by the State. The school is a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE). It is one of the Groupe des écoles nationales d'ingénieurs (ENI Group), but also an internal school of the Collegium National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (INPL). The École nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes - ENIT (English: ''National School of Engineers of Tarbes'') is a French school of engineering leading to the French “Diplôme d'Ingénieur” under the authority of the French Ministry of Education and Research and part of the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (INPT). Founded in 1963, about 200 students graduate from the ENIT each year. ENIT is part of the ENI group (national schools of engineers), which is a network of 4 French public engineering schools. Location ENIT is located in Tarbes in the département of Hautes-Pyrénées, in the Southwest of France 30 km east of Pau and 150 km south of Toulouse. Education in France is organized in a highly centralized manner, with many subdivisions. It is divided into the three stages of primary education (''enseignement primaire''), secondary education (''enseignement secondaire''), and higher education (''enseignement supérieur'').
