Trois-Pistoles, Quebec
Trois-Pistoles is a city in Les Basques Regional County Municipality in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec, Canada. It is also the county seat. The town is located on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River. A ferry crosses the river to Les Escoumins on the north shore. The port facilities are also used by fishing boats and scuba divers. CKRB-FM ''(Cool FM 103,5)'' is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Saint-Georges, Quebec. Owned and operated by Radio Beauce, a subsidiary of Groupe Radio Simard, it broadcasts on 103.5 MHz with an effective radiated power of 17,000 watts ( class B) using an omnidirectional antenna. History CKRB went on the air on July 22, 1952 as an AM station broadcasting on 1400 kHz; at the time the station only had a power of 250 watts. In 1959, CKRB moved to 1250 kHz with 5,000 watts. Saint-Georges () is a city in the province of Quebec. It is the seat of Beauce-Sartigan Regional County Municipality, part of the Chaudière-Appalaches region. The population was 32,935 as of the Canada 2021 Census. Route 173 runs through Saint-Georges Est (where it is known as Boulevard Lacroix) and heads south to the border with Maine, USA. The station had a hot adult contemporary format under the ''FM 93'' branding; although some programming from Cogeco-owned CHMP-FM and CKOI-FM in Montreal was aired. Rimouski ( ) is a city in Quebec, Canada. Rimouski is located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, at the mouth of the Rimouski River. It has a population of 48,935 (as of 2021).
