Marl () is a town and a municipality in the Recklinghausen (district), district of Recklinghausen, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is situated near the Wesel-Datteln Canal, approx. 10 km north-west of Recklinghausen. It has about 90,000 people. Nadeshda Brennicke (born 21 April 1973 in Freiburg im Breisgau; also known as ''Nadja Therésa Brennicke'') is a German actress, singer and author. Biography Brennicke is the adoptive daughter of TV and voice-over actor Michael Brennicke and her mother is an art dealer. She spent her childhood in München. When she was 15 she left gymnasium when she was in the tenth grade and moved out of her parents home in hopes of becoming an actress. From 1989-91, she attended the Zinner Studio (today the International School for Acting and Acting). In 1992 she formed the singing duo ''Charade'' with Jennifer Böttcher, which was produced by Stefan Zauner and Aron Strobel of the band Münchener Freiheit. The singles ''All of You'' and ''The Colour of Your Eyes'' reached number 67 and 60 of the German charts. Suzanne von Borsody (; born 23 September 1957 in Munich) is a German actress. She comes from a prominent theatre family, being the daughter of actress Rosemarie Fendel and actor Hans von Borsody. Her grandfather, Eduard von Borsody, was a famous director, while his brother, her great uncle, Julius von Borsody, was an equally famous set designer. Jan Böhmermann () (born 23 February 1981) is a German satirist, journalist, and podcast and television host. He also worked as a writer, producer, radio host, and is best known for his activism through publicity stunts. Early life and education Böhmermann was born and raised in Bremen. Alfred Franz Maria Biolek (10 July 1934 – 23 July 2021) was a German entertainer and television producer. Biolek held a PhD in law and was an honorary professor at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. He received many awards for his work on television which included popular long-running series, and pioneering work for talk shows and cooking shows in the 1970s. He also received awards for his efforts for promoting the culture of food and wine. He supported and founded charities for Africa. Frank Paul Beyer (; 26 May 1932 – 1 October 2006) was a German film director. In East Germany he was one of the most important film directors, working for the state film monopoly DEFA and directed films that dealt mostly with the Nazi era and contemporary East Germany. His film ''Trace of Stones'' was banned for 20 years in 1966 by the ruling SED. His 1975 film '' Jacob the Liar'' was the only East German film ever nominated for an Academy Award. Jurek Becker
Jurek Becker (, probably 30 September 1937 – 14 March 1997) was a Polish-born German writer, screenwriter and East German dissident. His most famous novel is '' Jacob the Liar'', which has been made into two films. He lived in Łódź during World War II for about two years and survived the Holocaust. Childhood Jurek Becker was born, probably, in 1937. His birth date is not entirely clear because his father gave a birth date that was intended to protect the child from deportation. After the war Becker was claimed by a father, but Jurek was never sure if he was his real father, and who said he no longer remembered Jurek's correct birth date. It is probable that Jurek Becker was some years younger than is generally reckoned. He lived in the Łódź Ghetto as a child.
