Rubén Grilo
Rubén Grilo (born 1981 in Lugo, Spain) is a Spanish contemporary artist based in Berlin. His practice includes sculpture, animation, sound installation and digital media. Education He studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and is an alumnus of the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam (2011-2012). He was the recipient of the ''Visual Art Grants'' by the Fundación Botín (2013). Work Grilo has exhibited his work in several institutions and galleries such as Fundació Joan Miró - Espai 13, Barcelona (2016), Union Pacific Gallery, London (2016), Hildesheim Kunstverein (2014), Bard Centre for Curatorial Studies in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York (2011) and Galería NoguerasBlanchard, among others. Hugo Grilo
Hugo Miguel Grilo Francisco (born 28 July 1986), simply known as Hugo Grilo, is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Oriental as a defender. Club career A product of Benfica's youth academy, he failed to break into the first team. Instead he had to be contended with a small stint with Benfica B between 2004 and 2005. After being released by the club he joined Operário in 2005. Though he struggled in his first season, he established himself as a first team starter in 2006. He made more than 25 appearances in each of the following seasons till 2011, when he left the club. In 2011, he joined Oriental. He made 28 appearances in his first season with the club. João Mário Lourenço Bagão Grilo (born 8 November 1958) is a Portugal, Portuguese film director, author and professor, born in Figueira da Foz. He attended economics at the University of Coimbra but dropped out. In 1983, he graduated in sociology at Lisbon's ISCTE and in 1994 earned a Ph.D. in communication sciences from the NOVA University Lisbon. He is a full professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the NOVA University Lisbon, where, among other courses, he teaches Filmology and Film Direction. His first long feature film won the Georges Sadoul Prize at the Venice Film Festival.
