Grieves
Benjamin Laub (February 23, 1984), better known by his stage name Grieves, is an American hip hop artist based in Seattle, Washington. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he lived in Colorado, San Diego, and New York City. He was signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment. Career Grieves released his first album, ''Irreversible'', independently in 2007. In 2008, Grieves teamed up with multi-instrumentalist and producer Budo, with whom he would release his next two albums: ''88 Keys & Counting'' in 2010, and ''Together/Apart'' in 2011. ''Together/Apart'' debuted at #112 in the Top 200 Album Sales, marking his first appearance in the Top 200. Grieves, along with Budo, performed at South by Southwest 2011 and also at Warped Tour 2011. Joshua Karp, better known by his stage name Budo, is an American musician, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He is a member of A.R.M. along with M.anifest and Krukid. He is one half of the duo Roger Lion along with Joe Pernice. Life and career In 2005, Budo produced tracks for Macklemore's ''The Language of My World''. Eli Nathan Nachowitz (born February 28, 1978), better known as Eligh, is an American rapper and producer from Los Angeles. He is a member of the underground hip hop group Living Legends. Biography Eligh's inspiration for making hip hop music came in the mid 1980s from the film ''Beat Street'' and LL Cool J's "I'm Bad." In high school, he co-founded the hip hop duo Boogalu Badboys with Scarub. When they crossed paths with another rapper Murs, the three formed 3 Melancholy Gypsys (3MG).
