''Greyzone'' is a Swedish-Danish thriller drama series, co-created and written by Morten Dragsted, Oskar Söderlund, Mikkel Bak Sørensen and Rasmus Thorsen that first broadcast on 22 February 2018 on C More. Starring Birgitte Hjort Sørensen as drone expert Victoria Rahbek, ''Greyzone'' centres on the days leading up to a terror attack and Victoria's kidnap at the hands of a terror cell who require access to the technological arsenal of her employers, SparrowSat. The series also aired on TV4 in Sweden under the title ''Gråzon'', on TV2 in Denmark and on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, premiering on 13 February 2019, and airing weekly at 10:45pm. The entire series was also made available to watch on All 4. Birgitte Hjort Sørensen
Birgitte Hjort Sørensen (born 16 January 1982) is a Danish actress. She has been nominated for three Robert Awards and one Bodil Award. Born in Hillerød and raised in Birkerød, Sørensen aspired to an acting career after watching the West End production of the musical ''Chicago'' while at school. She graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts. Her acting debut was in a minor role in the television series ''The Eagle'' in 2005. She followed this by playing Roxie Hart in a Copenhagen production of ''Chicago'', and later on the West End. Ardalan Esmaili
Ardalan Esmaili (born 22 March 1986) is a Swedish actor. Biography Esmaili was born in Tehran, Iran, to an architect father and a teacher mother. Toward the end of the Iran–Iraq War, when Esmaili was two years old, his family moved to Sweden. Esmaili stated, "My parents were afraid that my older brother might eventually be drafted into the military. They saw no future for the children in Iran." The family originally planned on moving to the United States, but instead settled in Skellefteå, where Esmaili would grow up. Esmaili attended junior high school in Malå. While attending high school at in Svalöv, he held an internship at with Milad Alami, a family friend. After high school, he attended the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting. Morten Kirkskov
Morten Kirkskov (born 28 March 1963, in Sønder Omme) is a Danish actor, theatre director and writer. He was appointed artistic director of the Royal Danish Playhouse for the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen in 2015.
