Grego (footballer)
Gregorio Sierra Pérez (born 5 March 1993), commonly known as Grego, is a Spanish footballer who plays for Burgos CF as either a central defender or defensive midfielder. Club career Grego was born in Murcia, and was a Real Murcia youth graduate. He made his senior debut with the reserves in 2011, in Tercera División. In 2012 Grego moved to another reserve team, Atlético Madrid C also in the fourth tier. On 30 July of the following year he joined fellow league team SD Noja, but after being rarely used he terminated his contract and signed for Mar Menor CF in January 2014. On 10 July 2015, after another one-year spell back at Murcia's B-side, Grego first arrived in Segunda División B, after agreeing to a contract with La Hoya Lorca CF. Roughly one year later, he joined fellow league side Valencia CF Mestalla. Murcia
Murcia (, , ) is a city in south-eastern Spain, the capital and most populous city of the autonomous community of the Region of Murcia, and the seventh largest city in the country. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the ''Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. 2020–21 Segunda División
The 2020–21 Segunda División season, also known as LaLiga SmartBank for sponsorship reasons, was the 90th since its establishment. The season began on 12 September 2020 and concluded on 31 May 2021. Teams Promotion and relegation (pre-season) A total of 22 teams contested the league, including 15 sides from the 2019–20 season, three relegated from the 2019–20 La Liga, and four promoted from the 2019–20 Segunda División B. 2019–20 Segunda División B
The 2019–20 Segunda División B season was the 43rd since its establishment. Eighty teams participated, distributed in four groups of twenty clubs each. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking all relegations and planning an eventual promotion playoff to be played if possible. Also, the expansion of the league to five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season (due to promotion from the curtailed Tercera División groups being applied) was approved. The Campeonato de España–Copa de Su Majestad el Rey, commonly known as Copa del Rey or simply La Copa and formerly known as Copa del Presidente de la República (1932–36) and Copa del Generalísimo (1939–76), is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
