Greg Stump
Greg Stump is an American champion skier, ski and snowboarding filmmaker, and music video director. Early ski career Born in San Diego, his family then moved to Maine where Greg learned to ski at nearby Pleasant Mountain (now Shawnee Peak). He was the U.S. national junior freestyle champion in 1978. In 1979 he won the North American Freestyle Championships at Edelweiss Valley in Quebec, Canada. He spent two years on the professional freestyle circuit. He was a skier in films made by Dick Barrymore, particularly ''Vagabond Skier'' shot in New Zealand in 1979. Edelweiss Valley
Sommet Edelweiss is a ski area located in Wakefield, Quebec, 30 minutes north of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in the Gatineau Hills. Description Sommet Edelweiss is a ski resort located in Wakefield, Quebec, approximately 30 minutes north of Ottawa. It is family oriented and consists of mostly beginner and intermediate terrain. There is a snow tubing park that is popular for families and school field trips. Edelweiss Valley was acquired by Mont Saint-Sauveur International in 2000. The ski area was started by three partners, Andy Tommy, who ran the ski area, and Art Tommy and Reg Lefebvre who ran the ski shop Tommy and Lefebvre. Warren Miller (director)
Warren A. Miller (October 15, 1924 – January 24, 2018) was an American ski and snowboarding filmmaker. He was the founder of Warren Miller Entertainment and produced, directed and narrated films until 1988. His published works include over 750 sports films, several books and hundreds of non-fiction articles. Miller was inducted into the U.S. Ski Hall of Fame (1978), the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame (1995), and was awarded Lifetime Achievement Awards from the International Skiing History Association (2004) and the California Ski Industry Association (2008). ZTT Records is a British record label founded in 1983 by record producer Trevor Horn, Horn's wife and businesswoman Jill Sinclair, and ''New Musical Express'' (NME) journalist Paul Morley. The label's name was also stylised as ZANG TUMB TUUM and ZANG TUUM TUMB on various releases. In December 2017, Universal Music Group (UMG) acquired ZTT Records, along with Stiff Records. Glen Plake (born September 9, 1964) is a US National Ski Hall of Fame skier. He grew up in Lake Tahoe, skiing Heavenly Valley. Scot Schmidt (born July 21, 1961, in Helena, Montana) is a professional extreme skier. Schmidt began ski racing in his hometown of Helena, Montana. He moved to Squaw Valley in 1979 to pursue a dream of making the U.S. Ski Team., and started skiing professionally in 1983. That year, Warren Miller Entertainment invited him to showcase his explosive and suspended style in what would be his first of over 40 films. In his 35th year as an athlete with The North Face, Schmidt became a designer and technical consultant for the Steep Tech line of ski wear. In 2003 Schmidt began skiing at The Yellowstone Club, a resort in his home state of Montana, and in 2007 he became the Club’s Ski Ambassador.
