Greg Sampson
Ralph Gregory Sampson (born October 25, 1950) is a former professional American football player. College and professional career Sampson graduated from Stanford University in 1972, where he starred as a defensive end, playing on two Rose Bowl-winning teams (1971 and 1972). Sampson grew up in Long Beach, California and graduated in 1968 from Millikan High School, where he first joined the football team his junior year as the kicker. The Houston Oilers were a professional American football team that played in Houston from its founding in 1960 to 1996 before relocating to Memphis, and later Nashville, Tennessee becoming the Tennessee Titans.
