Greg Lewis (sprinter)
Gregory Lewis (born 9 December 1946 in Victoria) is a former Australian Olympic athlete who competed in the 100 metres and 200 metres. Achievements Lewis won six Australian Championships during his career and represented Australia at the 1968 Olympic Games and two Commonwealth Games. In his final international competition, the 1974 British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch, Lewis won a gold medal as part of the victorious Australian 4 x 100 metres relay team. Additional information In 1972, Lewis married Commonwealth Games High jumper Carolyn Wright. Their daughter Tamsyn Manou is a three-time Olympian, specialising in the 800 metres, who has won three Commonwealth Games relay gold medals and one World Indoor 800m gold medal. Gregory Devon Lewis (born September 6, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player. In college, he was the Big South Conference player of the year as a senior in 2001–02. He was also a two-time Big South tournament MVP in 2000 and 2002. Since graduating he has played professionally in numerous countries, and in 2012–13 he was named Latinbasket.com's All-Liga Americas MVP while playing for Asociación Deportiva Atenas in Argentina. Early years Greg Lewis grew up in Akron, Ohio without a father and admitted that he was "a little wild" as a youth. He would run away from home, and his grades at Akron East High School suffered due to his absences (he had to repeat his sophomore year because he missed 160 days of school). Gregory Alan Lewis (born August 10, 1969) is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL) for two seasons in the 1990s. Gregory Alan Lewis Jr. (born February 12, 1980) is an American football coach and former player. He is the running backs coach for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played wide receiver in the NFL for eight seasons. After playing college football for Illinois, he was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2003. He played for the Eagles for six seasons from 2003 to 2008 and the Minnesota Vikings for two seasons from 2009 to 2010.
