Greg Howes
Greg Howes (born March 26, 1977 in Tacoma, Washington) is an American soccer player, most recently coach for Las Vegas Legends in the Professional Arena Soccer League. Career In 1995, Howes graduated from Franklin Pierce High School. He played his freshman season of collegiate soccer at Stetson University. He then transferred to Oregon State University, playing soccer there in 1998 and 1999. In 1999, he played for the Willamette Valley Firebirds of the Premier Development League. On February 7, 2000, the Seattle Sounders selected Howes in the first round (eighth overall) of the USL A-League draft. He tied for third on the points list that season and was named the 2000 A-League Rookie of the Year. On October 10, 2000, Howes signed with the Milwaukee Wave in the National Professional Soccer League. He was selected to the 2000-2001 All Rookie team. USL First Division
The USL First Division (usually referred to as USL-1) was a professional men's soccer league in the United States and Canada from 2005 to 2010. During its existence, it formed the second tier of soccer in the United States soccer league system behind Major League Soccer. It was operated by United Soccer Leagues (USL) and was known as the A-League, from 1997 until 2004. Several teams left the league in 2009 to form the new North American Soccer League, with the intent of running their own second-tier league. Gerry Gray (soccer)
Gerard "Gerry" Gray (born 20 January 1961) is a former soccer player. Born in Scotland, he represented and coached the Canadian national soccer team. Club career Born and raised in Scotland, Gray moved to Toronto, Ontario with his family at the age of 12 and played for several teams in Canada and the United States in the NASL. In 1982 Gray was named to the NASL's first North American All-Star team. Gray also played indoor soccer in the original MISL for the Chicago Sting as well as the Tacoma Stars. Gray played outdoors again in the Canadian Soccer League with the Ottawa Intrepid in 1988, Hamilton Steelers in 1989, Toronto Blizzard in 1990, the Steelers again in 1991, and then the Blizzard again in the same year. Rochester New York FC, formerly known as the Rochester Rhinos, are an American professional soccer team based in Rochester, New York, United States. Founded in 1996, as the Rochester Raging Rhinos, they changed their name to Rochester Rhinos to start the 2008 season. The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) was the top professional indoor soccer league in the United States. The league was a member of both the United States Soccer Federation and FIFA.
