Greg Evers
Robert Gregory Evers (June 16, 1955 – August 21, 2017) was a Republican politician who served as a member of the Florida Senate from 2010 to 2016, representing parts of Northwest Florida. Prior to his election to the Senate, he served as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 1st District from 2001 to 2010. Background Evers was born in Milton, Florida, and grew up on his family's farm, later attending Pensacola Junior College, and then eventually joining his family's fertilizer business. When he became the owner of the business, he moved it to Baker, where he started growing cotton, soybeans, peanuts, wheat, and corn. Durell Peaden
Durell Peaden Jr. (August 24, 1945 – June 23, 2015) was a Republican member of the Florida Senate, representing the 2nd District since November 5, 2002. He left office at the end of November 2, 2010 due to term limits. Previously he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives's 5th district from November 8, 1994, through November 7, 2000. He switched from the Democratic party to the Republican party in June 1997. Peaden received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Tulane University, his medical degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico, and his law degree from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University. Marissa Alexander Case
In May 2012, 31-year-old Marissa Alexander was prosecuted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and received a mandatory minimum sentence of 20 years in prison. Alexander said that she fired a warning shot after her husband attacked her and threatened to kill her on August 1, 2010, in Jacksonville, Florida. Some time after her conviction, a new trial was ordered. Before the new trial could begin, Alexander was released on January 27, 2015, under a plea deal that capped her sentence to the three years she had already served. Incident Alexander was in the home of her estranged husband Rico Gray, when Alexander claimed that Gray threatened to kill her via texts on Alexander's phone. Mike Hill (American Politician)
Walter Bryan "Mike" Hill (born June 2, 1958) is a Republican politician from Florida. He served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2014 to 2016 and 2018 to 2020, representing the Pensacola area. The Tea Party movement was an American fiscally conservative political movement within the Republican Party that began in 2009. Members of the movement called for lower taxes and for a reduction of the national debt and federal budget deficit through decreased government spending. It urges the return of government as intended by some of the Founding Fathers. It also seeks to teach its view of the Constitution and other founding documents. Dave Murzin
Dave Murzin (born December 24, 1963) is a realtor and former Republican Party (United States), Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky. Biography Murzin's father, a retired Navy captain and dentist, moved the family to Pensacola, Florida, Pensacola in 1978. Dave graduated from Tate High School and received an Associate of Arts Degree from Pensacola Junior College. He also received a bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from the University of West Florida, and began work in educational leadership.
