Manchester is a home rule-class city in Clay County, Kentucky, in the United States. It is the seat of its county and the home of a minimum- and medium-security federal prison. Greenville is a census-designated place (CDP) and the main village in the town of Greenville in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. The population of the CDP was 1,074 at the 2020 census, out of 1,974 in the entire town. Geography The CDP occupies the northern half of the town of Greenville. The village of Greenville is in the western part of the CDP, on both sides of the Souhegan River. The CDP boundary follows the Greenville town line to the north, east, and west. To the south, the CDP border follows New Hampshire Route 123 (River Street, Pleasant Street, and Mason Road) and Darling Hill Road. Old Greenville is a ghost town in Jefferson County, Mississippi, United States. The town was located along the old Natchez Trace and was once the largest town along the Trace. Nothing exists at the site today except the town's cemetery. History Old Greenville was located on Coles Creek, approximately northeast of Natchez. The area around Old Greenville was settled prior to 1798 and was originally known as Greenbay in honor of a local landowner, Henry Green.
