The ''News & Record'' is an American, English language newspaper with the largest circulation serving Guilford County, North Carolina, and the surrounding region. It is based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and produces local sections for Greensboro and Rockingham County, North Carolina. Since the mid-2000s, the paper has undergone rounds of layoffs and changes in ownership. As of 2021, it had an average weekday circulation of about 21,510. History The ''News & Record'' traces its roots to the ''Daily Record'' which was first printed on November 17, 1890, in Greensboro. An afternoon paper, it was begun by John Benson, Joseph Reece, and Harper J. Elam. Eden, North Carolina
Eden is a city in Rockingham County in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Eden is the largest city in Rockingham County and is part of the Greensboro-High Point Metropolitan Statistical Area of the Piedmont Triad metro region. As of the 2020 census, the population was 15,405. From the late nineteenth century through much of the 20th, the city was a center of textile mills and manufacturing. The city was incorporated in 1967 through the consolidation of three towns: Leaksville, Spray, and Draper. Geography Eden is located at (36.506434, -79.745092).
