Green Alliance (Spain)
The Green Alliance ( es, Alianza Verde; AV) is a Spanish ecologist and eco-socialist political party, ideologically located to the left. It was created on 10 June 2021 within the Unidas Podemos electoral coalition. It has a representative in the Congress of Deputies, Juan López de Uralde, founder and former leader of Equo. Since its inception, it has been presented to all elections within Unidas Podemos or equivalent according to region or elections. History Alianza Verde was born from the people who stayed at Unidas Podemos after Equo left this space to join Más País in 2019, along with others from environmental social organizations. Juan López De Uralde
Juan Antonio López de Uralde Garmendia (born 8 September 1963) is a Spanish politician interested in ecological issues. He was spokesperson of Greenpeace Spain from 2001 to 2010. He was first elected to the Spanish Congress in 2015. He has represented Álava in Congress for Podemos since the 2015 Spanish general election, being re-elected in 2016 and 2019. He is a member of the Green Alliance. Greens Equo
Greens Equo (and formerly Q or eQuo) is a Spanish political party founded on 4 June 2011, when 35 Spanish green parties agreed to merge into Equo. It began as a foundation on 24 September 2010 with the goal of becoming "the seed and source of debate about political ecology and social equity, originating a sociopolitical movement". The first election it contested was the 2011 Spanish general election, obtaining 216,748 votes (0.9%), making it the 9th most supported party. The party was fifth in Madrid, achieving representation thanks to the Valencian coalition Compromís-Q, in which Equo participated. The Workers' Commissions ( es, Comisiones Obreras, CCOO) since the 1970s has become the largest trade union in Spain. COVID-19 Pandemic In South Korea
