Greek FCA Winners' Championship
The FCA Winners' Championship ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Πρωταθλητριών Ε.Π.Σ.) was a Greek football league competition contested annually by the most recent winners of all local Football Clubs' Associations championships in Greece. It is not considered part of the Greek football league system, due to a lack of formal structure, requiring all local FCA championships to have been completed prior to its start. The FCA Winners' Championship was ←founded in 1960, and held annually until 1962, as an experimental format for a 2nd tier in the Greek football league system. The competition was once again established and held annually during 1968−1977 going by the name "Amateur Championship" as a means of achieving promotion to the formally-structured ''Beta Ethniki'' (the official 2nd tier of the Greek football league system, renamed in 2010 to ''Football League''). S.F.K. Pierikos ( el, Σ.Φ.Κ. Πιερικός) is a Greek football club based in Katerini, Greece, part of the major multi-sport club of the same name. Their name was inspired from the State's name of Pieria. The club recently competed in the Super League 2 2021–22, at the Northern Group and got relegated to Gamma Ethniki. History of the club The foundation The club was founded on 11 April 1961 from the merger between Megas Alexandros (meaning Alexander the Great) Katerinis and Olympos Katerinis. Megas Alexandros had played in the 1st Division of Greek football in its first season ( 1959–60) but finished in the 15th position and thus relegated in the 2nd Division. Aspropyrgos Football Club ( el, ΠΑΕ Ασπρόπυργος) is a Greek professional football club based in Aspropyrgos, Athens, Greece. History The club was founded in 1995 with the merger of the older clubs "Panaspropyrgiakos" Πανασπροπυργιακός"(founded in 1947 from the union of all of the city's teams and from 1951 participated in Piraeus FCA championships) and Doxa Aspropyrgos, with the name Enosis Aspropyrgos.
