Great British Garden Revival
''Great British Garden Revival'' is a British documentary television series that was first broadcast on BBC Two on 9 December 2013. The series was presented by Monty Don, Carol Klein, Joe Swift, Rachel De Thame, James Wong, Tom Hart Dyke, Chris Beardshaw, Alys Fowler, Charlie Dimmock, Diarmuid Gavin, Christine Walkden, Toby Buckland, Sarah Raven and Matt James. Each episode shows two presenters focusing on an endangered part of gardens. Charlie Dimmock
Charlotte Elouise Dimmock (born 10 August 1966) is an English gardening expert and television presenter. She was a member of the team on ''Ground Force'', a BBC gardening makeover programme, airing from 1997 to 2005. Since then, Dimmock has presented numerous TV shows in the UK and US, including ''The Joy of Gardening, Charlie's Garden Army'' and most recently ''Garden Rescue''. MIPCOM (Marché International des Programmes de Communication, English: International Market of Communications Programmes) is an annual trade show held in the French town of Cannes, traditionally in the month of October and running for 4 days. It is owned and organized by Reed MIDEM, a subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions. The event is geared towards the television industry, primarily attended by representatives of television studios and broadcasters, who use the event as a marketplace to buy and sell new programmes and formats for international distribution, as well as celebrities to promote programming. Matt James (TV Presenter)
Matt James is a British garden designer, horticulturist and university lecturer who rose to fame on the TV programme '' The City Gardener'' which was shown on the UK's Channel 4. Originally from Essex, he now resides with his wife and children in Cornwall. James's gardening career began when he was a teenager working on a small farm. He then went on to study at various horticultural colleges and work at nurseries. Sarah Clare Raven (born 1963) is an English gardener, cook and writer. Background Raven was born in Cambridge, the daughter of John Raven, John Earle Raven (d. 1980), a classics University don, don and Senior Tutor at King's College, Cambridge, and his wife Faith ''née'' Smith (Constance Faith Alethea Hugh Smith), a daughter of Owen Hugh Smith (1869–1958). Toby Neale Buckland (born 11 October 1969) is an English gardener, TV presenter and author, best known for being the main presenter from 2008-10 of BBC's long running flagship gardening programme ''Gardeners' World''. Christine Helen Walkden is a British television presenter and gardener, best known for her appearances on gardening programmes and ''The One Show''. She has hosted her own series centred on her home garden in Sawbridgeworth, ''Christine's Garden'', on the BBC. Diarmuid Gavin
Diarmuid Gavin (born 10 May 1964) is an Irish garden designer and television personality. He has presented gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show on nine occasions from 1995 to 2016, winning a number of medals, including gold in 2011. He has also authored or co-authored at least ten gardening-related books. Early life Gavin was born in London on 10 May 1964, to Irish parents, and brought to Ireland when he was a month old. Alys Fowler
Alys Fowler (born 9 November 1977) is a British horticulturist and journalist. She was a presenter on the long-running BBC television programme ''Gardeners' World''. Early life and education Fowler was born in Silchester, Hampshire, and had a rural childhood. Her father was a doctor, and her mother ran various businesses – she had 200 chickens and sold their eggs, trained gun dogs, and would dog-sit for Londoners. She was influenced by her mother's gardening talents and the degree of self-sufficiency it afforded the family.
