''Grean Fictions'' ( th, เกรียนฟิคชั่น, ) is a Thai comedy-drama film directed by Chookiat Sakveerakul and produced and distributed by Sahamongkol Film International. The film is a coming-of-age story about Tee, an upper-secondary-school boy from Chiang Mai, his friends, their school lives, and family. The film was released on 18 April 2013. Plot The film opens with Tee narrating, speaking to his friends about the YouTube videos that they enjoy making under the moniker "Grean Fictions" and have become popular at school. He then tells that he is writing a story for a film, which is the story of his and his friends' school lives. At school in Chiang Mai, in their ''matthayom'' 4 (grade 10) year, Tee and his friends Oat, Mon and Mone are asked to participate in the school drama club's play. Chookiat Sakveerakul
Chookiat Sakveerakul ( th, ชูเกียรติ ศักดิ์วีระกุล, ), born 1981 in Chiang Mai, Thailand) is a Thai film director and screenwriter. He is also credited as Ma-Deaw Chukiatsakwirakul or Matthew Chukiat Sakwirakul. Chookiat's first feature-length film was an ensemble drama, ''The Passenger of Li'', which was an independent production. His next film was ''Pisaj'', a 2004 horror film produced by Sahamongkol Film International. Chookiat garnered critical acclaim for this next film, '' 13 Beloved'', a gritty drama about a deadly underground reality television game, which won several awards in Thailand and from film festivals. ''Pee Mak'' ( th, พี่มาก..พระโขนง; ) is a 2013 Thai supernatural romantic comedy-horror film directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun. The story is an adaptation of the Mae Nak Phra Khanong legend of Thai folklore. It was released on 28 March 2013. The film stars Mario Maurer as Mak and Davika Hoorne as Nak, and Pongsathorn Jongwilas, Nattapong Chartpong, Auttarut Kongrasri and Kantapat Permpoonpatcharasook. The film was a major commercial success upon its release and became Thailand's highest grossing-film of all time.
