Maine House Of Representatives
The Maine House of Representatives is the lower house of the Maine Legislature. The House consists of 151 voting members and three nonvoting members. The voting members represent an equal number of districts across the state and are elected via plurality voting. The nonvoting members represent three of Maine's Native American tribes, though two tribes have declined to send representatives. Each voting member of the House represents around 9,000 citizens of the state. Because it is a part-time position, members of the Maine House of Representatives usually have outside employment as well. Richard "Dick" Farnsworth is an American politician from Maine. Farnsworth, a Democrat, served in the Maine House of Representatives from 1996 to 1998 for District 32, then part of Portland. Camden is a resort town in Knox County, Maine. The population was 5,232 at the 2020 census. Prescott College is a private college in Prescott, Arizona. History In 1965, the Ford Foundation brought together a group of educators from around the United States. Prescott College was the result of this gathering. The college was originally built in 1966 on outside of Prescott, Arizona. Janet Trafton Mills (born December 30, 1947) is an American politician and lawyer serving as the 75th governor of Maine since January 2019.
