Graveface Records is an American independent record label from Savannah, Georgia, solely owned and operated by Ryan Graveface (who plays in the groups Black Moth Super Rainbow, Dreamend, the Marshmallow Ghosts and the Casket Girls). The Appleseed Cast
The Appleseed Cast is an American rock band from Lawrence, Kansas. The band was founded in the early days of emo by singer-guitarist Christopher Crisci and drummer Louie Ruiz. The Appleseed Cast has steadily evolved over the release of eight full-length albums with Crisci as the main songwriter. The band has never broken up, but the lineup has changed over the years. Currently, the band's lineup includes Christopher Crisci, Ben Kimball, Nick Fredrickson, and Sean Bergman. Major acclaim first came in the early 2000s and earned them a 9.0 from Pitchfork for their album set ''Low Level Owl, Vol I and Vol II''. Haley Bonar
Haley McCallum (born 1983), professionally known as Haley and formerly Haley Bonar, is a Canadian-born American singer and songwriter who was raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. She has lived in Duluth and currently St. Paul, Minnesota. In 2009, she moved to Portland, Oregon, where she spent a year writing songs for her album ''Golder'', which was released April 19, 2011. She plays acoustic guitar, baritone electric guitar, electric guitar, and Rhodes or Wurlitzer electric piano, either solo or with her Twin Cities-based band, including Jeremy Ylvisaker, Robert Skoro, and Jacob Hanson. Life and work In 2003 Haley's album ''. . . The Size of Planets'' ( Chairkicker's Union) received favorable reviews in the Twin Cities press. The album spawned the single "Am I Allowed," which was played on college radio stations. Monster Movie (band)
Monster Movie is a British dream pop band originally formed by Christian Savill and Sean Hewson in 1989. The band reformed in 1999, with Rachel Goldstar. In 2009, Ryan Graveface and Sophie Pittaway made recording contributions. In 2011, seeking to do more live performances, Gregg Cox and Sam Williams joined on bass and drums, respectively. Savill previously played as guitarist in shoegazing band Slowdive, until he left shortly before they changed musical direction and became Mojave 3 Mojave 3 were a British rock band consisting of former Slowdive members Neil Halstead (vocals, guitar), Rachel Goswell (vocals, guitar) and Ian McCutcheon (drums) alongside keyboardist Alan Forrester and former Chapterhouse guitarist Simon Ro .... Whirr (band)
Whirr is a shoegaze band from the San Francisco Bay Area. The group formed in 2010, originally as Whirl, but had to legally change its name after a woman performing acoustic covers of Black Sabbath songs trademarked the name and threatened a lawsuit. Whirr's shoegaze sound is often compared to My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive. Founding guitarist Nick Bassett also played in the band Deafheaven surrounding and including the release of their 2011 album ''Roads to Judah''. History Whirr self-released a demo cassette and the EP ''Distressor'' before signing to Tee Pee Records in 2011. The band released ''June'' that year, followed by their 2012 debut album, ''Pipe Dreams''. The latter was met with a generally positive reception from music critics. Whirr released the ''Around'' EP on July 9, 2013, and toured to support it that August with the band Nothing.
