Grant McKelvey
Grant McKelvey (born 28 December 1968) is a senior manager at the Scottish Rugby Union who has also worked as a rugby union coach. He was previously a Scotland international rugby union player. Early life McKelvey was born on 28 December 1968 in Chingola, Zambia. He went to Knox Academy in Haddington. Rugby Union career Amateur career He started off playing for Haddington and then played for Watsonians. Professional and provincial career He was named as a replacement in the Cities District side to play Australia in October 1996. However he did not play. McKelvey played for Edinburgh Rugby. International career He played for the Scottish Schools under-15s in 1984. He played one Autumn international match as hooker for Scotland against Australia at Murrayfield on 22 November 1997. Chingola
Chingola is a city in Zambia's Copperbelt Province, the country's copper-mining region, with a population of 216,626 (2010 census). It is the home of Nchanga Copper Mine, a deep-shaft high-grade content copper mining operation, which subsequently (in the 1960s) led to the development of two open pit operations, Chingola Open Pit and then Nchanga Open Pit (the latter being the second largest open cast mine in the world). The Scotland national under-18 rugby union team is the under-18 team of the Scotland national rugby union team in the sport of rugby union. History Under-18 became a recognised age-grade in European rugby in 2004. European Championship Scotland took part in the early editions of the European Under-18 Rugby Union Championship, coming third in 2005 and fourth in 2006, on both occasions playing Italy for third place. Musselburgh Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in Musselburgh, East Lothian, Scotland. The team play their home games at Stoneyhill and currently compete in the , the top tier of Scottish club rugby. Musselburgh RFC first applied to join the Edinburgh & District League in 1921 but it is believed that the town had a team for at least 20 years before that. The autumn internationals, November internationals, end-of-year tests, and spring internationals/tour for Australia and New Zealand, are men's rugby union Test matches that are contested around November each year.
